Klokanček mother center in Nitra is basically a theater laboratory

We were looking for women who changed their communities. In small ways. In everyday things. They often don’t see what they’ve come up with until a few years later when children tell them how superduper they felt in the mother centers. Women, how their world changed, how they received incentives.

Just try to imagine they weren’t here.

That all those good things would disappear.

So we at least tried to capture moments with Lujza Garajová-Schrameková and Daša Šimeková.

The mother center Klokanček in Nitra is basically a theatre laboratory. Just take a look! Even their jungle gyms – huge ones, in fact – placed in the space, look like a theater stage. No wonder. The founders performed and still perform at the theater for the youngest children. The children watch and turn into characters of the Naughty Pipo and others. But that’s not all. Women from the mother center spread cheer even in places where there isn’t much laughter – to the Crisis Centre in Nitra and the Community Centre in Dražovce. They visit disadvantaged children right where they live. It shouldn’t be taken for granted. By the way. The founder of this cheerful center is Daniela Konečná, director of the Union of Mother Centers.

So take a moment to listen.
